That's right! It's Medical Fitness Week!!
The goal of this week is to increase physical activity for all ages and promote healthy lifestyles. A few light activities you can participate in are walking, swimming, or yoga. Substitute veggies or fruit for your snack this week instead of potato chips and soda.
Getting out and getting active is important for you and your family. After dinner, take a walk with them and enjoy a game of "Tag" or bike riding.
MedicalFitness.org challenges and encourages the nation to walk 70,000 steps in 7 days. Can you do it? I am certainly going to try!
